How we use pre-beta registration information

This notice covers the echotag pre-beta website and interest register. It does not describe the processing that will take place inside the future echotag service; fuller service-specific information will be provided before anyone participates in the controlled beta.

Who we are

echotag is a trading name of ROLFECO LIMITED. You can contact us about privacy or your information at hello@echotag.uk.

Information we collect

If you register for pre-beta updates, we may collect your name, email address, the audience group you select, your consent record and any optional message you choose to provide. Please do not submit medical information, information about a child or detailed information about a vulnerable person through the registration form.

Why we use it

We use this information to send the echotag development updates and controlled-beta information you have requested, understand the broad types of people and organisations interested in the service, and respond to enquiries. We rely on your consent for pre-beta marketing email.

Brevo and other suppliers

We plan to use Brevo to host the registration form, maintain the pre-beta contact list, record consent and send email updates. Brevo will process information on our behalf. We may also use essential website-hosting and security suppliers. We do not sell pre-beta registration information.

How long we keep it

We will keep your registration information while you remain subscribed or while the pre-beta programme continues. If you unsubscribe, we may retain limited information on a suppression list so that we respect your preference not to receive further marketing.

Your choices and rights

You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us. You may also ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your information, and you may raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Website data

The static pre-beta page does not use advertising trackers. The hosting service may process basic technical logs, such as IP address, browser information and request time, to deliver and protect the website. If this changes, we will update this notice and introduce any consent controls required.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page if the registration process or our use of information changes. Last updated: 20 October 2026.
